Junior PR Account Executive - Budapest

Grayling Hungary is looking for a proactive and curious PR Account Executive who is fluent in Hungarian and English and has some proven experience either gained through an internship or work experience.

Account Executives are the foundation of all teams and are expected to consistently deliver quality work with the support of their supervisors. They are responsible for delivering excellent day-to-day client work, playing a key support role within the team. You will work with the world’s leading brands on different projects, helping your supervisors deliver excellent campaign results and manage client expectations.

What tasks will you be assigned to?

  • Supporting the work of the supervisors in:
    • Copywriting: media monitoring, reports, proposals, case studies, press releases. Translation of these to and from Hungarian-English.
    • Media relations: reaching out to journalists and other stakeholders, keeping in touch with them, keeping press lists up-to-date.
    • Client relations: participate in project and event management tasks including activity plan development, status report compliment, creative brainstorm contribution, liaison with event and project participants to respond effectively and efficiently client needs.
    • Account admin: preparing presentations and pitches to client meetings, writing of memos, managing account administration.

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of internship or work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian using a range of appropriate styles e.g. editorial copy, releases, features, by-lines, case studies, newsletters, website copy, mini-proposals, blogs, social media posts, etc.
  • Interest in traditional and digital communications
  • Demonstrates familiarity to current affairs and business issues – general news, as well as news specific to client industries
  • Curious and proactive – a desire to learn, improve, apply new knowledge
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Organised with excellent time management skills - e.g. effectively manages own time, understands the importance of deadlines, understand how KPIs and deliverables link to day-to-day work
  • Ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities
  • Possesses strong presentation skills
  • Has an eye for accuracy and detail
