We are looking for a Platform Engineer eager to learn new technologies and manage large complex systems that enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary team to join our agile product development team. You will help the team provision process and tools, be able to scale, deploy, run, monitor and manage our products across all environments. You’ll work collaboratively with the product team to help automate and streamline our operations and processes, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Responsabilities:
- Implement, install, operate and maintain systems hardware, software applications and Information Technology infrastructure.
- Manage project deployment lifecycle and oversee live implementation.
- Evaluate product requirements to develop total systems solutions within project timelines and cost constraints.
- Design scalable and performant solutions.
- Oversee the testing and monitoring of applications and systems performance.
- Provide assistance with systems planning, business information analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Support resolution of systems issues.
- Provide regular reports auditing our current services and latest changes, as well as our internal practices.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience of software development.
- Solid experience with Git and Linux.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform Experience with monitoring tools.
- Experience with a variety of software and hardware operating environments for virtualization and containers (Docker, kubernetes/openshift, Clouds (AWS and/or Azure).
- Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to translate complex ideas into simple solutions on paper.
- Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Available to work in a hybrid working model in Lisbon.
