About the Role

Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct performance and load tests to assess our platform's robustness. 
  • Chase down performance bugs and identify system bottlenecks, participate in analyzing test results. 
  • Maintain our testing framework and infrastructure. 
  • “Deep diving” into our products, technologies, and profession 

What You'll Bring

  • A technical education or a passion for technology. final-year student's welcome  
  • Familiarity with major OS components: CPU, Disk, RAM, network 
  • Understanding of web protocols: HTTP, REST API 
  • Foundational virtualization knowledge (VMs, containers) 
  • A lively and flexible mind, clear logic 
  • The desire to develop yourself in the field of performance and load testing 
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams

Bonus Skills

  • Previous use of performance/load tools (JMeter, Locust) 
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) or cloud services (Azure, AWS) 
  • CI/CD experience (working with pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, TeamCity) 
  • Knowledge of any programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) 
  • Knowledge of automated frameworks such as Pytest 
  • DevOps (Terraform, Ansible) experience 
  • Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, Nats) 
  • Experience in any observability system (Grafana, Elastic) 
  • Multicomponent software troubleshooting skills: reading logs, analyzing interactions between components, identifying patterns
