Together with our Senior People & Culture Manager Andrea, you are going to be part of the people team and be in charged of the following tasks:
HR operations:
Contract management: Write and draft employee contracts and amendments for new hires and employees. With your attention to details you uphold a solid standard of quality in all documents.
Payroll support: Communicate relevant payroll information to employees and keep the payroll process on track in regards to changes and preparation
HRIS documentation and absence request management: Process and document absence requests in our HRIS and ensure correctness of all employee data
On- and offboarding: Deliver a great experience for new hires in onboarding and offboarding, contributing to a welcoming culture and giving people a good experience
Office management:
Mail and inbox management: Sort and forward all incoming mail and deliveries
Office culture and great events: Contribute directly to our positive work environment by organising impactful team events (from start to finish) and being responsible for weekly orders and deliveries
Touch point for external services and vendors: Collaborate with external service providers to maintain the office, take care of repairs and uphold safety and fire regulations
Equipment and inventory management: Collect and set up hardware and equipment, maintain our inventory and support IT with requests related to hardware and equipment
Health & Safety:
Overseeing open tasks & implementing preventative measures in the area of health and safety in collaboration with external providers
This role can be done either in full time or in part time (25 to 35 hours) and is limited to a minimum of 12 months for a maternity cover.
Applied experience of 1 to 2 years in a similar role in office management, event management or a people role
A structured and organised approach is mandatory to deliver results in this role and to positively represent the people team towards employees
Previous experience working in a startup environment is a plus
A proactive way of communicating and solution oriented thinking
Integrity and reliability, you are touching sensible data and you know how to work compliant and trustworthy
Fluency in English and at least B1 Level of German
You are able to be in our offices (Berlin Mitte) at least 3 - 4 times a week as the office management requires to be onsite
