We are looking for a junior creative Content Writer to write and edit original content for marketing activities. Your duties will include creating copy for individual profiles and campaigns. FDC manages the personal LinkedIn profiles of Founders, C-Suite Executives, and Directors worldwide. Our services support them with Lead Generation, Personal Branding, Talent Acquisition/Attraction, Strategic Relationships and Thought-Leadership content creation.


This role requires:

  • 2+ years proven work experience in a Copywriting position.
  • An ability to research, write and curate content for LinkedIn and other platforms when required.
  • Sourcing images, videos and graphics as needed for content.
  • Work closely within your team to brainstorm creative ideas and concepts to meet the content strategy.
  • Creating blog content and thought leadership articles when needed.
  • Developing and executing outstanding copy work - both for our clients and for the company as well. 
  • Proofing and editing all your content, ensuring that it retains the highest quality.
  • Understanding client briefs and business content needs and executing it accordingly.
  • Working on several clients’ content at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience using Content Management Systems.
  • A portfolio of published content.
  • Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good time management skills and deadline driven.
  • Basic keyword search knowledge.
  • Self motivated and dependable.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.

The starting salary is R15,000 which covers 5 clients. Thereafter, you can earn a commission of R1,700.00 per client. You have the chance to earn a salary of R20,000

This position would be within our FDC Connect business unit. FDC Connect also has one longstanding white-label partner called Black Marketing. FDC Connect and Black Marketing are essentially the same services, just with different company branding. 

If you succeed in the interview, you will be fully employed by FDC. However, you will potentially be branded as an employee of Black Marketing, working on a majority Southeast Asian client base. Further details will be shared in the interview.
