As a Junior Legal Counsel at Mitto, you will be an integral part of our legal team, supporting a dynamic and fast-growing global business in the CPaaS (Communications-Platform-as-a-Service) sector of telecommunications industry. You will take on substantial responsibility from day one, reviewing and drafting a wide variety of contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and contributing to strategic legal projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in a commercial, international environment, where your work directly impacts our growth.

How you'll go beyond: 📈

• Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including contracts with clients, suppliers, agents, and partners;
• Manage and ensure compliance with corporate governance ("corporate housekeeping") requirements;
• Prepare and submit forms and filings for various national and international authorities and institutions;
• Support the legal and finance team in analyzing international treaties and regulatory developments;
• Maintain and improve the contract lifecycle management system and legal archiving processes;
• Actively contribute to streamlining and scaling legal workflows and processes to support business efficiency.

What you bring to the table: 📋

• Law degree;
• Demonstrable relevant work experience, preferably in an in-house setting, with a strong foundation in contract law, data privacy, and international compliance;
• Exceptional legal judgment and business acumen, with a creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, international team environment;
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have: 😊

• Prior experience within CPaaS, telecommunications or tech industry;
• Proficiency in Spanish;
• The ability to work autonomously while exercising sound judgment on when to look for guidance;
• Familiarity with document management or collaboration platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint and e-signature platforms such as Docusign or similar.
