About the Role
As a Junior Designer you will be the creative force behind our capital projects. You will focus on developing captivating designs, maintaining specification schedules, and finding innovative cost-saving solutions for our multifamily apartment buildings’ common areas and amenities. Collaborating with external architects, you’ll bring designs to life and ensure they align with your brand vision. You will also work closely with Construction Managers to manage budgets and timelines and create seamless project execution.

Responsibilities
Develop design programming for Schematic Design (SD) and Design Development (DD)
Attend leadership meetings to align on design intent across capital projects.
Coordinate design of common areas with operations teams, ensuring brand aesthetics and efficiency
Maintain specification schedules for all design elements (furniture, finishes, artwork, etc.)
Obtain pricing, lead times, and discounts from vendors
Organize project samples, design libraries, and files
Maintain mood boards and design materials for each project area
Research cost-saving design alternatives
Collaborate with Architects on SD & DD sets
Draft Revit models and drawings for approved programming
Submit drafts for operations and design approval
Review Architects' SD & DDs for brand and programming alignment
Coordinate with Construction Managers on design budgets and timelines.
Manage project timelines, quantities, and delivery schedules
Follow up on sample requests, orders, and reconcile discrepancies
Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and specifications
Resolve supplier and delivery issues and submit invoices to accounting
Lead external presentations with mood boards, 3D models, renderings, and CAD drawings
Present design work persuasively, internally and externally
Produce technical drawings, including FF&E specs, material schedules, and budgets
Review documents for brand consistency and technical accuracy
Oversee design coordination with the team, consultants, and vendors
Supervise construction administration tasks (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)
Collaborate with Design Managers on scope, budget, and schedule
Promote a culture of design excellence and creativity within the team
Ideal Background
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
3+ years of experience working as an Interior Designer, specifically in commercial and residential interiors
Proficiency with design software, such as Revit, CAD, Enscape, and Adobe Suite
Strong communication and presentation skills
Exceptional ability to convey complex concepts and strategies in written form
Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to carry multiple projects to completion simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain effective working relationships with consultants, peers, and the leadership team
Wide knowledge of interior architectural detailing (trim work, floor/wall/ceiling details, stair details, etc.) and joinery detailing (millwork)
Knowledge of interior finish sources, hardware, equipment, lighting, etc.
Knowledge of FF&E specifications and experience in all aspects of the FF&E process
Experience in luxury hotels, condos, and/or multifamily real estate preferred
Have a strong, organized resume and portfolio showcasing relevant design work
Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate
