Junior Instructional Designer

TLDR

Help ensure the quality of e-learning courses in a fast-paced SaaS environment while developing strong operational and quality assurance skills.

At Epignosis our mission is simple yet bold: To make learning technologies accessible to every business, regardless of geography, sector, or company size. And we've been doing just that for more than a decade, empowering millions of people to grow, learn, and thrive through technology that's both powerful and affordable.

We're rapidly becoming one of Greece's largest SaaS companies, serving 12,000+ companies and 22+ million learners worldwide with solutions like TalentLMS (an award-winning cloud LMS built for simplicity), eFront (an enterprise LMS), TalentCards (a mobile app for deskless training), and TalentHR (a lightweight HRIS for people operations).

Our success is built on a team that believes that work should matter — not only to you, but to the world around you. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, structured, and curious about how great learning experiences are built behind the scenes.

We're searching for a Junior Instructional Designer to help ensure that every course we publish meets high quality standards and delivers a consistent, engaging learner experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow in Instructional Design while developing strong operational and quality assurance skills in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Instructional Designer, you will:

  • Own course quality checks -- Perform end-to-end quality assurance testing of e-learning courses prior to release, identifying issues, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Support production quality control — Assist the Instructional Design Manager in maintaining quality standards throughout the course development process.
  • Execute structured pre-launch reviews — Conduct quality-related tasks required for the successful launch of new courses.
  • Review Marketplace submissions — Evaluate and validate new course entries before publication in the TalentLMS Marketplace, ensuring alignment with quality guidelines.
  • Maintain course accuracy — Ensure consistency and accuracy of course metadata, descriptions, categorization, and Marketplace listings across content updates.
  • Manage content lifecycle — Support version tracking and updates of third-party course content, ensuring timely replacements and controlled deprecations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally — Work closely with Customer-Facing teams to address course-related inquiries and quality concerns.
  • Improve processes — Identify recurring issues and contribute to improving internal QA workflows and documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role as a Junior Instructional Designer, you should have:

  • 0–2 years of experience in Instructional Design, e-learning, QA, content review, or a related field
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms or digital learning environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A structured, process-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with different teams

Nice to have:

  • Academic background in Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, Communications, or related field
  • Experience reviewing or structuring learning content
  • Familiarity with basic instructional design principles
  • Experience working with content tracking or project management tools
