Junior Homologation Engineer - Legislation Service Support Specialist

We are seeking talented professionals to join IDIADA’s resident engineering team in one of our clients in Bologna, to be integrated into the Homologation Team for a world-leading vehicle manufacturer.
We are looking for a Legislation Service Support Specialist to strengthen our team and drive global compliance initiatives. In this role, you will ensure the accurate management of regulatory databases, oversee internal process ticket workflows, and provide support in internal and external meetings to maintain alignment with international automotive legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage internal workflows tickets (cloning, evaluation, creation) and update KPI reports
• Attend cluster and internal meetings, providing insights and summaries
• Maintain and update legislative service databases to ensure accurate information
• Prepare high-level summaries and presentations on critical regulatory topics
• Support markets with specific legislative activities and regulation checks

Qualifications:

• Expertise in worldwide type approval regulations
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Fluent in Italian and English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Jira and other regulatory compliance tools
• Understanding of automotive regulations beyond standard type approval
• Previous experience in a comparable role within the automotive industry

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Vehicle Engineering, or related fields
• Previous experience in automotive compliance or regulatory affairs, will be considered a plus
