Junior Homologation Engineer

We are seeking talented professionals to join IDIADA’s resident engineering team in one of our clients in Bologna, to be integrated into the Homologation Team for a world-leading vehicle manufacturer.
We are looking for a Homologation Engineer to join our team and support global compliance and homologation activities. This position plays a key role in managing regulatory data, software approval workflows, and preparing homologation packages across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support homologation processes, including software approval cycles and compliance tracking activities
• Monitor and maintain regulatory databases and component certification records
• Prepare homologation packages and technical compliance documentation for vehicles
• Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and associated tracking tools
• Participate in meetings and deliver clear, structured reporting on homologation progress and compliance status.

• Experience in homologation tasks and processes
• Knowledge of EU and UNECE regulations for Whole Vehicle Type Approval
• Familiarity with homologation tools and systems
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Fluent in Italian and English language

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Vehicle Engineering, or related fields
• Previous experience in automotive homologation or compliance, will be considered a plus.
