Junior Game Designer

Gameloft Sofia is hiring a Junior Game Designer to strengthen its creative design team.

As a Junior Game Designer, you will participate in the designing process of one of our successful games at Gameloft Sofia. You will work with the game design team to define the gameplay rules and create the most compelling experiences for millions of players around the world. In this role, you will propose and design fresh ideas and supervise their implementation during production. You will also be responsible for part of the game’s documentation and its overall quality.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, implement and support features and mechanics into the game
• Brainstorm and push new ideas that fit the game’s setting, production scope, technical requirements & limitations, and game genre
• Work actively on first time user experience, balance and the user's journey of new or existing features
• Coordinate with other departments throughout the feature’s development cycle
• Write and maintain the necessary documentation (diagrams, UI mock-ups, presentations) to support the game’s features
• Double-check all data added to the game for quality and conformity
• Participate and facilitate the work in an agile environment

• Extremely creative person with ability to propose fresh ideas in gaming sphere
• Deep interest in gaming (preferably strategy and racing games)
• Highly motivated team player and gamer eager to learn new things
• Detailed oriented person with good analytical skills
• Fluency in English
