Junior Electronics Engineer | Telematics

We are looking for a Junior Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Vilnius. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and improvement of innovative products and the design of product testing equipment. 

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management across logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. We use the latest technologies to set new standards for the telematics industry.

In this role, you will:

A typical workday will consist of these main functions:

  • Assistance in designing products.
  • Schematic and PCB design.
  • Various measurements, calculations, identification of problems, and their resolution.
  • Prototype testing.
  • Antenna measurement and tuning.
  • Experiments with new electronic circuits.
  • Testing individual components.
  • Collaboration with our production and other departments.
  • Work with professional measurement equipment.
  • Work according to Agile practices.

What we expect of you:

  • Higher engineering education.
  • Ability to work with Altium Designer (or another schematic and PCB modeling program).
  • Ability to solder.
  • Understanding and ability to read technical documentation in English.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Knowledge of high-frequency circuit design rules.
  • Experience in antenna measurement, tuning, and design.
  • Knowledge of RF and EMC.
  • Experience working with vehicle data transmission interfaces.
  • Experience using PCB simulation software.
  • Experience working with analog and digital circuits.
  • Ability to perform circuit simulations (e.g., LTspice or other).

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 10 Eur/h up to 14 Eur/h (~1650 Eur—2350 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
