Junior Designer
TLDR
Collaborate with multiple teams to create diverse visual assets that enhance brand communication using AI-powered design tools in a fast-paced team.
Maintain and apply Samba's visual brand system consistently across all outputs
Collaborate with the Marketing and Content teams to bring campaigns and product stories to life visually
Support event and trade show design needs, including signage, booth materials, and branded experiences (including Samba Summit)
Use AI-powered design tools — including Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, and generative features within Figma and the Adobe Suite — to accelerate ideation, explore concepts, and increase output quality
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently and constructively
Help maintain organized design file libraries and asset management systems
Contribute to motion and 2D animation needs as the role and your skills develop

0–2 years of design experience (internships, freelance, or full-time)

Proficient in Figma

Hands-on experience with AI design tools (Claude, Flora Fauna, Midjourney)

Strong eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy — your portfolio shows it

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and timelines are real

Collaborative and communicative — you ask good questions, take feedback well, and flag blockers early

Portfolio required — show us a range of work across digital and print, and call out any AI-assisted pieces

Experience with motion graphics or 2D animation a plus

Familiarity with presentation design (Google Slides, Keynote) a plus

Background or interest in adtech, media, or data-driven industries a plus
