About the Role
As a Dental Customer Support at Osteoid, you will be working in conjunction with our dental professionals. We are the face of Osteoid that the doctors know, and our role is to be the bridge between our customers and the production team to ensure that the final product is designed as the doctor specifies. Our tasks range from helping doctors with submitting their data, resolving issues, and even assisting the doctors in planning cases in Osteoid software. Support is provided primarily through phone and email, and cases can be independent or collaborative.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, reliable, hard-working, good with problem solving, and is passionate about helping doctors and patients achieve excellent surgical outcomes as a result of our surgical guide services and products. This role has the potential to grow into our Certified Dental Consultants who work independently and contribute to larger-scale projects.

This position is remote and based in Cary, North Carolina, United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete department training requirements under direct supervision
  • Conduct surgical case planning with doctors
  • Provide product assistance via phone and email
  • Conduct product training with new customers
  • Follow up with surgical case progress
  • Build a professional working relationship with doctors
  • Provide clinical feedback from doctors to the production team
  • Train for and complete bone reduction cases with direct supervision
  • Successfully passes validation training
  • Complaint handling
  • Resolve kickbacks
  • Receive 3rd party data
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Strong computer knowledge, easily able to pick up new software applications
  • Capable of learning clinical dental terms and medical concepts
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and organizational skills
  • High accountability and responsibility

Qualities We Look For

  • Experience in the medical or dental industry
  • Experience in radiology
  • Experience speaking to medical professionals on the phone
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask

Minimum Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field
  • 0-1+ year of full time work experience
