ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Junior Central Operations Manager (FM), you will be the bridge between central strategy and local execution. Your mission is to ensure Numa provides safe, high-quality, and seamless stays across our entire portfolio.

Supporting all local operational teams, you will drive cross-functional initiatives in Facility Management (FM), Maintenance, Security, and Compliance. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves solving complex operational puzzles and wants to scale a brand across Europe.

YOUR MISSION

  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end management of assigned projects—from initial scoping and brief development to tracking timelines and ensuring final deliverables meet Numa’s standards.
  • Facility & CAPEX Optimization: Assist in coordinating CAPEX development plans. You’ll help calculate operational ROI to ensure our building improvements are both impactful and budget-conscious.
  • Operational Readiness: Support task forces for property takeovers, new launches, and M&A integrations. You will ensure that every new Numa location meets our operational benchmarks from day one.
  • Strategic Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with centralized vendors. In collaboration with Procurement, you’ll audit performance and cost-effectiveness to ensure our site teams have the best FM and security support.
  • Innovation & Scaling: Drive the implementation of new on-site technologies (e.g., AI-driven maintenance tools, OS&E testing) and work with the Training team to turn these into standard best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a central point of contact, creating clear communication templates and reporting structures to keep Operations leadership informed and aligned.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in high-level operations, hospitality, or facility management (ideally within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment).
  • Project Mindset: You are organized by nature. You can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of the details.
  • Analytical & Proactive: You don’t just spot problems; you propose solutions. You have a basic understanding of ROI, KPIs, and how operational efficiency impacts the bottom line.
  • Communication: You are a natural collaborator who can influence stakeholders across different countries and departments.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in an environment that changes quickly. You are comfortable with ambiguity and "rolling up your sleeves" when a project requires it.
  • Passion: You have a genuine love for hospitality and a tech-first approach to solving traditional industry challenges.
