We are seeking a friendly and efficient Junior Cashier to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a Junior Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
Operate the cash register and process various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and digital payments
Accurately count and handle money, making change when necessary
Scan items, bag purchases, and ensure proper pricing
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and locating items in the store
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
Assist with inventory management and restocking when necessary

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling
Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Point of Sale (POS) systems
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
Basic computer skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
