What You Can Look Forward To:
The Indirect Jr Buyer is responsible for managing all indirect purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services that support business operations. This includes categories such as facilities, maintenance, logistics, IT services, tools, office supplies, and professional services.
The role involves coordinating sourcing activities, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adherence to company procurement policies.
What Will You Do?
Manage sourcing and procurement for all indirect spend categories (MRO, facility services, logistics, IT, travel, professional services, etc.).
Execute purchase requisitions, prepare RFQs, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
Support the development and execution of category strategies to achieve cost reduction and efficiency goals.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver procurement solutions that meet operational needs.
Track supplier performance metrics (delivery, quality, responsiveness) and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
Conduct spend analysis and market benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, cost tracking, and payment follow-ups.
Support sustainability and supplier diversity initiatives where applicable.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions in the ERP system
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
3–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in indirect procurement
Strong understanding of sourcing principles, cost analysis, and supplier negotiation
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in manufacturing or engineering companies
Knowledge of indirect categories such as MRO, facilities, utilities, and logistics
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams
