About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative junior brand designer to join our international Berlin-based design team and support us in bringing our brand vision to life.

As a Junior Brand Designer at Klar, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging and user-friendly designs that align with, develop upon, and enhance the overall user experience and perception of Klar.  

As a junior brand designer within our internal Klar Brand Studio, you will work closely with our marketing team, supporting brand-led initiatives across various channels including Social Media, Print, Website, Product, and Offline Campaigns.

With your help, we can produce high-quality graphics for digital and print media.

What you can expect: 

• Graphic design: Create compelling graphics for various digital and print platforms including website, social media, email campaigns, paid advertising, offline campaigns, video content, and internal communications. Know how to set up files and export print-ready artwork.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with our marketing team to develop design solutions that meet project goals and deadlines, under the guidance of ADs and Senior Brand Designers.
• Asset Management: Maintain and organize a library of graphic assets, including images, icons, illustrations and templates.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders from different teams and follow up on briefs and feedback. Able to work independently and share progress and updates.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a studio, agency, or tech environment.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is nice to have, but not an essential requirement for this position. We would prefer a strong and well-crafted portfolio, indicative of a strong eye for detail, craft in design and your thought process.
• Technical Skills: Some prior knowledge of Figma is a must, as well as a given proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). Knowledge of the Google Workspace tools is also important as well as experience with project management tools. Motion design, 3D, and vector illustration skills are a plus.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous creative projects. We also love to see your passion projects.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative design concepts with an attention to detail and a sharp eye for aesthetics.
• Self-organization: Ability to work in a dedicated team on multiple projects. Meeting agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Fluency in English is a must-have. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus for our company but not a requirement. Must be able to communicate clearly your ideas and decision-making process
