Role Summary
We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to guide the strategy, architecture, and hands-on development of AI-powered agents, workflows, and automation solutions that materially improve Sales performance. This role combines elements of AI product management, architecture, and hands-on solution development
This is a hybrid execution and builder role. You will:
Guide and develop the Sales AI roadmap
Develop scalable agentic solutions
Build production-grade AI agents and automations
Enable citizen developers across Sales
Serve as the primary AI subject matter expert for the organization
You will work at the intersection of Sales, Sales Engineering, Operations, IT Enterprise Architecture, and Development — ensuring AI solutions are practical, secure, scalable, and outcome-driven.
This role is critical to enabling sellers and Sales Engineers to operate faster, smarter, and with higher impact across the entire customer lifecycle.
What You Will Do
Sales AI Strategy and Roadmap
Guide the end-to-end AI strategy for Sales aligned to Sophos’ AI-first framework
Identify and prioritize high-ROI AI use cases across the Sales lifecycle (discovery, qualification, scoping, proposals, competitive positioning, win/loss, reporting)
Develop and maintain a multi-quarter AI roadmap with clear business impact metrics
Align initiatives with enterprise architecture, governance, and security standards
AI Engineer and Hands-On Development
Architect and build AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and the broader Power Platform
Design multi-agent workflows, orchestrations, and structured automation patterns
Integrate agents with enterprise systems (Salesforce, data warehouses, SharePoint, Teams, internal tooling)
Develop reusable blueprints, templates, and connectors to accelerate future builds
Prototype rapidly, validate with users, and evolve solutions to production scale
You will not just ideate – you will build.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
Partner with the SE Development team to transition prototypes into hardened, scalable production solutions
Collaborate with IT Enterprise Architecture to ensure governance, compliance, and data security
Work with Sales, SE Ops, and Business Operations to translate workflows into AI-enabled solutions
Enablement, Evangelism & Adoption
Drive adoption through workshops, office hours, and leadership engagement
Host internal workshops, training sessions, demos, and office hours
Build prompt guides, how‑to resources, and role‑specific enablement materials
Act as a champion for AI‑enhanced productivity and best‑practice usage patterns
Lead the Sophos SE AI Interlock team in partnership with our Product groups
Measurement and Continuous Optimization
Define KPIs tied to revenue lift, efficiency gains, cost reduction, and quality improvements
Implement telemetry and usage tracking for AI agents
Refine agents based on adoption patterns and performance data
Publish impact summaries demonstrating measurable business value
What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar low‑code tools
- Experience building AI agents or conversational systems using Copilot Studio or similar tools
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and APIs
- Experience translating business workflows into automation and AI solutions
- Knowledge of governance, data security, and compliance considerations in enterprise AI
- Experience collaborating with technical delivery teams or developer
- Ability to rapidly prototype, test with users, and iterate based on feedback
- Strong organizational, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity Sales environments
- Experience leading AI or automation programs at scale
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns (orchestration, grounding, document ingestion, action execution)
- Experience with Power BI or analytics-driven insight generation
- Experience building internal Centers of Excellence or citizen developer programs
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $75,600 to $126,000. In addition to the base salary, there's a component for target sales commissions alongside a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
