We’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Serbia and help us keep our financial operations sharp and organized. You’ll work on preparing and analysing financial data – from balance sheets to income statements – and make sure everything adds up behind the scenes.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, pays close attention to detail, and knows how to apply accounting principles with confidence and good judgment.

Your role:
As a Junior Accountant, you’ll help keep our financial engine running smoothly. You’ll prepare journal entries, assist with reconciliations, support audits, and work closely with our Senior Accountant and external tax consultants.

Your tasks will include: 🧾

• preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses during monthly and quarterly closes;
• executing existing accounting and reporting procedures for financial close cycles;
• supporting both internal and external audit processes with documentation and data;
• collaborating with the Senior Accountant and tax consultants on tax and license filings;
• reviewing current procedures and suggesting ways to improve accuracy and efficiency;
• researching complex accounting scenarios and recommending solutions;
• helping maintain and document corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
  
  

What we’re looking for: 🔍

• Bachelor in economics and finance or similar;
  
• some experience in an accounting role;
• understanding of local GAAP;
• advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel;
• fluency in English (written and spoken);
  
• ability to collaborate within a team;
• analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
