Junior Accountant (Entry Level)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Assist with BAS, GST, and other ATO reporting requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Communicate regularly with the Australian finance team for updates, clarifications, and reviews
• Support audit preparation and respond to basic audit requests
• Handle other ad hoc accounting tasks as directed by the client or senior accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
• Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and tax rules is a plus
• Knowledge of basic accounting processes
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
