We are looking for a dynamic junior account executive to join our team.


We are looking for an individual who strives for business and personal growth, is an excellent communicator, and is unafraid to present new ideas. An understanding of a diverse range of business sectors across multiple geographic regions is essential. The ability to implement and stick to deadlines is critical. 


This position would be within our FDC Connect business unit. FDC Connect also has one longstanding white-label partner called Black Marketing. FDC Connect and Black Marketing are essentially the same services, just with different company branding. 

If you succeed in the interview, you will be fully employed by FDC. However, you will potentially be branded as an employee of Black Marketing, working on a majority Southeast Asian client base. Further details will be shared in the interview.


FDC manages the personal LinkedIn Profiles of Founders, C-Suite Executives, and Directors worldwide. Our services support them with Lead Generation, Personal Branding, Talent Acquisition/ Attraction, Strategic Relationships and Thought-Leadership content. 


Full training will be provided. Successful new recruits are trained to manage senior positions (Board Members, CEOs and C-Suite Executives, and Directors) personal LinkedIn profiles. 



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Operational

  • To work with clients across multiple time zones 
  • Manage senior LinkedIn personal profiles (4 > 6 Profiles once training has been completed)
  • Outreach, engagement, posting of content (Content is provided), general account activity and various activity-based KPIs. 
  • Ensure a positive and professional client service experience
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships
  • Create and implement personalised communication strategies for clients
  • Develop clear objectives for each client and the strategies to achieve such  
  • Assist with challenging client requests and provide solutions to improve workflow efficiency
  • Work cross-functionally with all stakeholders in the company to achieve successful outcomes for clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Identify opportunities for growth within our platform/service offering
  • Manage the onboarding process of new clients 
  • Ensure on-time delivery of work and deadlines



      ROLE REQUIREMENTS


      • Previous Entry level role as an account executive, social media manager, or digital marketing executive in either a creative agency or corporate setting
      • Proven understanding of personal branding, communications, and marketing.
      • Solid experience with MS Office and Google Apps (particularly Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides)
      • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
      • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
      • An understanding of client’s business objectives.
      • An understanding of consumer behaviour across various markets and consumer profiles, both locally and internationally.
      • The ability to think strategically and develop innovative and creative marketing strategies.
      • Excellent writing proficiency and content creation skills.
      • Strong analytical skills and a good level of mathematical ability (statistics and numbers).
      • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
      • A Bachelor’s degree, National Diploma in Marketing or a relevant field is preferential.
      • 1> 2 years previous work experience.

      Starting Salary > R15,000 per month 

       

      A salary review will take place after 6 months with a potential to increase.
