[July Onwards Intake] Internship - Test Equipment Engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfilling tasks set out by team lead & department manager.
• Assist engineers in equipment performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and sustaining activities.
• Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and system health checks.
• Collect and analyze equipment data (e.g., uptime, yield, alarms) for continuous improvement projects.
• Support improvement activities related to equipment reliability, availability, and quality performance.
• Assist in documenting procedures, work instructions, and equipment recovery guides.
• Contribute to automation, digitalization, or data visualization projects (e.g., using Excel, Python, or Power BI).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including process, quality, and manufacturing engineers.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree final year student major in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic.
• Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong interest in hands-on technical work and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with basic engineering tools, troubleshooting techniques, or measurement instruments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED:

• Familiarity in computer system & computer network.
• Able to work independently without supervision.
• Have a good interpersonal skill.

SKILLS:

• Knowledge in Electric / Electronic Component.
• Able to operate Windows OS, MS Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
