[July Onwards Intake] Internship - Product Design Engineering

Intern under Product Development Team will be responsible for assisting engineers in respective Memory (NAND) & Platform (SSD) Test Development activities in relation to NPI Product Test Development. Scope of engineering work which intern assist can include:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Participates in designing a complete comprehensive framework of Functional Product Test Plan for any specific Memory or SSD product (SATA,SAS,PCIe).
• Participates in designing processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
• Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses.
• Participates in designing, developing, and implementing effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for NPI phases of product development and manufacturing.
• Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
• Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
• Develops/modifies tools to aid test development using scripting languages such as C++,Python.

REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Familiarity with Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
• Understanding of digital systems, storage interfaces (e.g., SATA, NVMe, PCIe), and embedded systems.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or protocol analyzers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced development environment.

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of NAND Flash memory and SSD architecture is a plus.
