[July Onwards Intake] Internship - Engineer, Test Engineering

We are looking for a motivated and passionate intern to join our team as a Test Engineering Intern. Your primary focus will be on automation initiatives, assisting in the development of test tools for data analysis, visualization, and reporting, as well as automation solutions for routine activities to improve efficiency and accuracy in test operations.

You will also contribute to dashboard development, data analytics tool creation, and explore machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analysis and decision-making. These efforts will support product engineers in analyzing test yield, test time, and quality to meet stringent requirements in a dynamic High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) environment.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in test automation, data-driven engineering, and advanced analytics, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive Test Excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Automation & Test Strategy Optimization

• Design and assist in building automation solutions to streamline routine engineering activities and test operations.
• Develop data analytics tools and interactive dashboards to monitor and analyze test yield, test time, and quality in HVM environments.
• Apply machine learning and statistical methods to production big data to detect patterns, anomalies, and drift; deliver data behavior analysis and decision-support insights.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product engineers, supporting Test Time Reduction (TTR), quality improvement, and continuous optimization of test strategies.

REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL for programming and data analysis.
• Understanding of data analysis or software development fundamentals.

PREFERRED:

• 6 months internship
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib).
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Exposure to dashboard development and API integration.
• Knowledge of Python, HTML, SQL, Visual Basic, C++ or Java programming.

SKILLS:

• Ability to read, understand, and write basic code in Python, SQL, C++, Visual Basic, HTML and Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
