Our Graphic Designers sit within the larger Brand, Marketing and Business Development (BMBD) Team. BMBD is a diverse and talented team of idea generators, insight seekers, storytellers, creative writers, graphic designers, professional marketers, business developers, strategists and digital specialists. Our collective goal is to enhance how we promote and position CannonDesign.
We are a diverse bunch, spread across multiple offices with a dutiful responsibility for our firm’s global impact. As a part of our in-house graphic design team, you won’t find yourself sitting in the passenger seat. Instead, you’ll have both hands on the wheel. Our work has enormous exposure inside and outside of CannonDesign. Despite this mighty responsibility, we never miss an opportunity to celebrate the joy in our work. Behind the beautiful portfolio is a group of people who care about each other’s lives and are delightfully committed to our ability to flourish. Think you have what it takes? We can’t wait to meet you.
The Jr. Graphic Designer is a creative whiz with a knack for strategic thinking. The role is responsible for assisting Graphic Designers and Sr Graphic Designers develop a wide range of graphic assets: infographics, identity systems, brochures, event collateral, proposals, social media campaigns, animations and pitch decks that communicate the firm’s value to our clients. They are expected to execute design concepts across all media with creative guidance from the Creative Director and Graphics Team Leader. The Jr Graphic Designer will work closely with other BMBD professionals as they learn the ropes of architecture and design marketing.
ABOUT YOU
Quite simply, you’re obsessed with design. It’s what you think about when you bounce out of bed and, probably more often, it’s what keeps you up at night. If you’ve lost sleep over criminal kerning or refused to order from a restaurant whose menu has two spaces after a period, you’ll fit right in. You believe that the key to being a successful graphic designer is staying curious about things other than graphic design, and that your EQ is just as important as your IQ. Your creative spirit knows no limit. And you probably love the smell of libraries and newspaper.
