Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Development Engineer to join our Research & Development team focused on advancing plate heat exchanger technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and validation of thermal systems through experimental testing and computational modeling. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that improve performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thermal calculations for heat transfer, pressure drop, and temperature profiles.
  • Support development of new product concepts, designs, and technical solutions.
  • Assist in prototype production, lab testing, and validation using CFD and FEA simulations.
  • Use simulation tools for thermal rating and optimization.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance improvements.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Travel up to 10% to other R&D facilities.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (required)
    • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience:
    • 1–2 years in R&D or product design engineering (preferred)
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
    • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and data analysis tools
    • Familiarity with CFD/FEA software and 3D modeling
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
