  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and occasional industrial settings 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams 
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices 
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations 
  • Ability to mentor an apprentice and work in pairs or groups 
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site 
  • Coordinate with team members, general contractors, and clients as needed 
  • Complete daily documentation and communicate progress to supervisors 
  • Qualifications:
  • Valid State of Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (License A or B
  • 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience preferred 
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes 
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification required 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and a commitment to safety 
  • Proficiency with Field Pulse or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems preferred
