Requirements

Education/Training: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required 
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Experience with Agile, CMMI\TSP\PSP, AS9100, or other process model for software development
  • Knowledge reading and creating schematics and requirements documents
  • Familiarization with software configuration management\defect tracking tools and peer reviews
  • Knowledge of computing systems and software structure Experience creating flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation in IBM DOORs or Microsoft Office
  • Experience with DoDAF and modeling/simulation (e.g., CORE, Genesys, Azure, Jira, Confluence, etc.) would be helpful
  • Knowledge of formal test planning, procedures, execution, and reporting would be helpful
  • Military aircraft experience preferred 

Security:

    • Must be a US citizen
    • Active DoD issued security clearance at level Secret or higher required
    • Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance required

Physical Requirements:

    • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
    • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
    • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
    • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
    • Must be able to perform business travel; Travel may involve multiple days/weeks
