Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 24/7 batch cycle stability by supporting on-call rotations or shift operations.
  • Provide reports on job failures, SLA adherence, and batch performance metrics.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within batch operations.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise job scheduling or batch operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Control-M Operations (Monitoring, job changes, hold/release, reruns, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems—basic commands, file handling, log analysis.
  • Exposure to AS400 and Mainframe (JCL, batch jobs) environments.
  • Experience working with Remedy or other IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
  • Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in 24x7 or rotational shift environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Control-M Administrator or Advanced Scheduling experience.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Experience in automation tools or workflow optimization.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
