At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SDET to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in enhancing our quality assurance and testing processes. Your expertise in test automation and software development will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the design and implementation of automated tests, driving our commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative SDET to enhance our quality assurance and testing processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and test frameworks for software applications across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects or issues.
Enhance existing testing methodologies and integrate new testing technologies.
Maintain documentation for automated processes, test results, and testing methodologies.
Work closely with the development team to replicate and resolve bugs and verify fixes.
Develop and execute test plans for our Customer Data Platform (Segment) and ensure accurate event tracking.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must-have Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an SDET, Test Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on quality assurance and test automation.
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Gherkin, JavaScript, and WebdriverIO.
Familiarity with API testing and tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes and tools (e.g., Vercel).
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and regression testing.
Experience with SQL queries/DBT Models.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency in advanced English, both written and spoken, for effective global communication.
Nice-to-have Skills:
Relevant certifications in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
