We are looking for a Systems Architect to join our team on a project with one of our largest international clients. The products developed are intended for clients in the financial market, providing information and facilities for purchasing mutual funds, ETFs, retirement plans, bonds, and other financial products. This position requires a hybrid work model at our client’s office in Malvern, PA. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable and efficient system architectures to meet business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with project objectives. - Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system performance and reliability. - Oversee the integration of various system components, ensuring smooth communication and data flow. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, technical specifications, and processes. - Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance user experience. Requirements: - Proven experience in designing, implementing and evolving systems architecture, ideally with a focus on financial applications. - Experience in tech lead roles, guiding teams in best practices and technology usage. - Software development background, with proficiency on a subset of Java/SpringBoot, Node, React, Angular. - Previous experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS. - Be willing to learn custom tools and proprietary infrastructure solutions. - Proven experience with APIs, microservices architecture, legacy modernization, data protection regulations and performance optimization. - Excellent documentation skills, ensuring clarity and accessibility of architectural designs and processes. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and client stakeholders. #mid-senior #LI-AG4
