At CI&T, we are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Java Developer to join a growing client-facing team within an expanding CI&T engagement. This role is part of a well-structured and highly collaborative team, directly managed by the client, working in a fully English-speaking environment.
Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the Loyalty Project, a fidelity and points-based system for a global, developing scalable and reliable solutions alongside a supportive, organized team known for strong partnership and positive feedback. This is a great opportunity to grow technically while working closely with international stakeholders in a mature engineering environment.
Developing and implementing effective and scalable backend solutions, including designing, coding, testing, and maintaining existing systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.
Design and implement well-designed and functional interfaces, guided by business analysts.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning.
Engage in continuous learning opportunities within a highly collaborative team.
Technical Requirements:
Solid experience with Java development and Spring Framework / Spring Boot
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
Experience with database design, including SQL and JPA/Hibernate
Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
Experience with test automation, including unit and integration tests
Experience with Kafka or other messaging/streaming platforms
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker and Kubernetes is a plus)
Exposure to observability and monitoring tools
Strong communication skills; English proficiency in listening and speaking is required
