The Principal Architect will lead the design and implementation of a modern data architecture to support the migration from legacy systems to Snowflake. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, cloud technologies, and best practices in data management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee the implementation of the target Snowflake architecture, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing data systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ingestion strategies and governance frameworks.
Lead the architecture review process, incorporating feedback from the data team and business users.
Establish best practices for data integrity, cost efficiency, and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on cloud data solutions (preferably Snowflake).
Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
