At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Release Developer to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a Mid-Level Release Developer, you will work closely with the Release Management team to ensure that features and releases are effectively managed throughout the development pipeline. Your role will involve consulting with Release Managers to create accurate Release Plans, maintaining up-to-date release information, and ensuring that high-quality releases are delivered seamlessly. You will also manage source code in our shared release branches, create release builds, and coordinate activities on launch day to provide a smooth update experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Release Managers to create and maintain Release Plans.
Manage source code in shared release branches and create release builds.
Ensure accuracy of release information throughout the development pipeline.
Assist in coordinating launch day activities for seamless updates.
Work within an agile/devops environment to support continuous integration and deployment.
Utilize work tracking tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management.
Engage with CI/CD systems, including source control (Git) and build automation (Jenkins).
What You’ll Need:
Background in software development or a related field.
Experience working in an agile/devops environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Proficiency with work tracking and collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with CI/CD systems, including source control (Git), build and automated test systems (Jenkins), and software delivery systems (mobile app stores, etc.).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies.
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks.
Experience with software testing methodologies.
