We are seeking a detail-oriented Content Author to support a large-scale content migration for a major financial services website. This role is responsible for accurately transferring finalized and approved content into copy documents and into the Content Management System (CMS), ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery across hundreds of pages.
This is not a content writing or strategy role; content will be provided by internal teams, existing site pages, or partner copywriters. The primary focus is on implementation, formatting, and production at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Implementation (Copy Docs)
Populate migration-ready copy documents with finalized content provided by strategists, copywriters, or legacy site sources.
Apply consistent formatting, labeling, and component mapping according to established templates and content models.
Track and maintain versioned content across multiple documents and workflows.
2. CMS Integration
Translate structured copy documents into the CMS, placing content into the correct modules, components, and fields.
Ensure accuracy in all content placement, including headings, images, links, metadata, and disclosures.
Perform basic QA checks to confirm pages render correctly and follow approved design and content guidelines
3. High-Volume Page Production
Process multiple pages per day to support a fast-paced migration timeline.
Contribute to the migration of 400+ existing home loan pages, plus new banking content pages.
Meet daily/weekly output goals to ensure on-time delivery through the end of April.
4. Content Quality & Consistency
Identify minor inconsistencies or formatting errors and correct them within the scope of the provided guidelines.
Escalate content or formatting questions to Content Strategy or UX specialists when clarification is needed.
Maintain alignment with brand voice, legal requirements, and component usage rules (no rewriting required).
5. Collaboration & Workflow Support
Work closely with content strategists, copywriters, UX designers, and CMS developers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
Participate in brief status check-ins, sprint planning, or production reviews as needed.
Follow established workflows and naming conventions to maintain an orderly migration process.
Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
Experience working with CMS platforms (Optimizely, Contentful, AEM, or similar) and comfort working in multi-environment CMS workflows.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in English (native fluency not required).
Experience working with digital copy docs, spreadsheets, or content inventories (Google Docs, Sheets, Excel, etc.)
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with web content accessibility (WCAG) standards.
Experience in large-scale website migrations.
Understanding of basic SEO (meta fields, heading structure, internal links).
Experience in finance, banking, or mortgage-related content (not required but beneficial).
Success in This Role Looks Like
Consistently meeting page production goals.
Zero defects or missing elements in CMS builds.
Smooth alignment with content strategists and designers.
Reliable execution with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
