As an Architect / Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our cutting-edge design system. You will be responsible for defining, building, and maintaining web components using technologies like Typescript, StencilJS, SCSS, and more. Your technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring our design system remains innovative, scalable, and user-friendly across frameworks like Vanilla JS, React, Angular, and Vue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Definitions: Draft and provide technical definitions for new web components and existing ones, supporting Angular, React, Vue and Vanilla consumers.
- Bug Analysis: Analyze bug reports from the development and QA teams, and offer high-level technical solutions to address these issues.
- Technical Documentation: Create technical definition documents after reviewing component code, ensuring it aligns with our system's standards and best practices.
- External Source Analysis: Formulate technical definitions based on external component definitions or documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that the design system aligns with both design and business goals.
- Mentorship: Guide less senior developers, assisting with code reviews and promoting best practices within the team.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front-end development to ensure our design system remains current and competitive.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior experience in a leadership role or leading technical teams
- Advanced english level
- Experience with Typescript, StencilJS, HTML, JavaScript, SCSS, Jest, Storybook.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to translate high-level requirements into actionable technical definitions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for a Technical and Non-Technical audience.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a knack for mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with large-scale design systems.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices.
