We are looking for an experienced AEM Architect to lead the design, planning, and oversight of enterprise-grade digital solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role is crucial in shaping scalable and secure AEM implementations that align with technical standards and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Design and document end-to-end AEM architectures, including component models, templates, workflows, data flows, and integration layers—ensuring scalability, modularity, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- AEM Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AEM (Sites, Assets, Forms), including architecture patterns such as headless CMS, hybrid, and traditional implementations. Deep understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service, AMS, or on-prem deployments.
- Environment Setup & Configuration: Lead the setup and configuration of AEM environments (dev, staging, production), define deployment strategies, and guide environment consistency across the lifecycle.
- Integrations: Define technical approaches for integrating AEM with third-party systems (CRMs, DAMs, analytics tools, AI services). Experience with RESTful APIs, OSGi services, Sling Models, and Adobe I/O integrations.
- Security & Governance: Apply security best practices to AEM configurations, user permissions, identity management, and content workflows. Ensure architectural decisions meet compliance and data protection requirements.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with development teams to ensure the architectural vision is implemented correctly. Provide technical guidance, lead design reviews, and support developer onboarding and knowledge transfer.
- Performance & Monitoring: Establish standards and tools for monitoring, performance tuning, caching (Dispatcher/CDN), and log analysis to ensure platform reliability.
- Documentation & Communication: Produce high-quality architectural documentation and effectively communicate technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Adobe Certifications: Adobe Certified Expert in AEM Architect, AEM Developer, or similar credentials.
- Knowledge of other Adobe tools such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
- AI-Driven Use Cases: Familiarity with integrating intelligent content features such as personalization engines or content recommendations using AI.
- Agile Environments: Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models, with the ability to align architecture with incremental delivery cycles
