We’re seeking a Senior Mobile Application Developer with a strong focus on Android development to lead the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile apps. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building end-to-end mobile solutions using Kotlin, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to drive technical strategy and execution. Experience with iOS and Swift is a strong plus, as we value developers who can think cross-platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain native Android mobile applications using Kotlin, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Define technical and architectural solutions together with your team and the client.
- Bring innovative solutions to technical or business problems related to Android development.
- Work closely with the team to ensure the execution of best practices in Agile Software Engineering and DevSecOps.
- Manage the project roadmap, including architectural activities, system dependencies, risks, and technical debt.
- Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Requirements for this challenge:
- Experience in native Android application development using Kotlin (Java is a plus).
- Experience integrating Android applications with AWS services (e.g., Cognito, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Differentials:
- Exposure to iOS development using Swift and familiarity with the iOS ecosystem.
- Knowledge of Architecture Patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms, especially AWS.
- Kubernetes.
- CI/CD: Blue Green Deployment, Canary Release, Infra as Code, 4 key metrics.
- Automation of web and native mobile tests.
