J-Mack’s Software Development Professionals develop software using a variety of platforms. You’ll analyze the needs of users and the target environments to ensure solutions are developed consistently with the current architecture. Our solutions leverage the latest technologies, including cloud and machine learning. 

Responsibilities include:  

  • Develop and maintain software.  
  • Implement highly scalable components and reliable web application functionality in a high-traffic transactional web-based data environment. 
  • Develop and maintain thorough and automated unit test harnesses for developed solutions. 
  • Work in a cross-functional software development team (scrum masters, product owners, software engineers, automation test engineers) 
  • Follow Agile Software Engineering and development practices. 

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of experience in developing software. 
  • Experience with Java Enterprise Application Design and Development 
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture concepts and enabling technology. 
  • Software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. 
  • Experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs.  
  • Experience using system architecture and object-oriented software design, REST, SOAP Web Services, and SOA architecture, Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Spring, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL), JPA/Hibernate and Java EE 
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) 
  •  Candidates must have, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or another engineering/technical discipline. Alternatively, 8 additional years of experience may be substituted for education.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a background investigation as a condition of employment.
