Java/Scala developer

• Interface with business unit sponsors to elicit requirements and document detailed deliverables.
• Be involved in the full development lifecycle of projects.
• Work as a part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
• Facilitate the decision-making processes with team members both in terms of new system development and enhancement to current systems.
• Be able to own features front to back using latest versions of Java with a cloud ready focus and a modern architecture which matches those used externally.

Requirements

• Extensive (4+ years) experience with Java, including server-side development.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Experience with object-oriented development and design paradigms such as design patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of Core Java (J2SE) programming (including Java 21 concepts).
• Significant experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.
• Knowledge of data modelling and Transact SQL.
• Experience of full software development life cycle.
• Experience in agile development.
• Strong verbal & written skills in English required to interact with global teams.
• Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian language skills is a must.
• Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual.
• Good problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian/English language skills is a must.
