Role Overview
As a Java Developer at ION, you will design, develop, and evolve high‑performance, scalable software solutions that support mission‑critical financial market operations. You will work within international, cross‑functional teams, contributing to complex systems built on modern Java technologies while continuously enhancing code quality, reliability, and innovation.
Key Responsabilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality Java-based software solutions.
Apply solid software engineering principles, including object-oriented design and domain-driven development.
Contribute to the development of asynchronous and concurrent systems.
Produce well-tested, maintainable code using TDD and ATDD practices.
Collaborate effectively within Agile teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements
Academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience of at least 1+ year in similar roles.
Strong interest in technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
Strong knowledge of Java (SDK, Streams, Lambdas) and concurrent programming.
Experience with asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and network design patterns.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and CI best practices.
Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, and standard IDEs.
Knowledge of at least one framework among Spring, Guice, or Hibernate.
Fluency in English (B2)
