Job Description:

As a Java Developer at Axiom Software Solutions Limited, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are high-volume and low-latency. You will work closely with other developers, testers, and project managers to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Your primary focus will be on back-end development, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining Java applications using Spring, Hibernate and other frameworks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
  • Participating in code reviews to maintain the quality of the codebase.
  • Writing unit and integration tests to ensure application robustness.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development including (Java 11/17/18)
  • Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
