Java Backend Developer (with Shopify experience)

What are we looking for?

• Strong experience in backend development using Java, Micronaut and Gradle;
• Solid experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs;
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures;
• Knowledge of API Design & Integration, including OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications;
• Experience integrating systems with Shopify and understanding Shopify integration patterns;
• Experience with testing practices and quality assurance;
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns, including: Domain-Driven Design (DDD); Event-driven architecture; Development of reusable components (e.g. catalogue validators);
• Ability to contribute to architectural decisions, API design and technical delivery;
• Experience mentoring and supporting other developers;
• Shopify experience is mandatory.
