What you will do:

• Ship code that powers thousands of drivers every single day across multiple countries

• Build lightning-fast, serverless architectures on AWS that scale effortlessly

• Own the entire backend infrastructure – this isn't just writing code, it's shaping the foundation of our platform

What we are looking for: 

You've got the skills:

• 3+ years crushing it in Backend Development with Kotlin or Java

• Deep familiarity with the modern tech stack: AWS, Serverless, Terraform, REST APIs, Event-driven architecture, microservices

• Battle-tested experience designing and refactoring complex microservice architectures in AWS

• CI/CD pipeline mastery (GitLab is your playground)

You've got the mindset:

• Proactive, hands-on, and you don't wait for permission to make things better

• Agile teams energize you – collaboration is your superpower (async or in-person!)

• You communicate with clarity and confidence in English

• Remote-first friendly: Work from your home office, a café in Barcelona, your Munich apartment, or our central office – it's your choice. We only ask that you can join us in Munich a few times a year for team events and strategic planning sessions
