They foster a positive and high-performing culture by investing in employee development, setting clear expectations, and leading with integrity. Externally, the CEO serves as a confident, credible, and respected representative of Jasper County REMC at Indiana Electric Cooperatives (IEC), Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA), and throughout the local community. This leader builds strong relationships, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, champions innovation, and represents the cooperative with professionalism and purpose.

The CEO will be responsible for demonstrating the following:

     Ideal Candidate Requirements

    • Senior executive leadership experience, preferably within an electric cooperative, utility, energy, broadband, or similarly regulated environment.
    • Demonstrated success leading both complex business operations and people, including developing leaders, managing performance, and driving organizational alignment.
    • Proven ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors, providing strategic counsel, transparent reporting, and sound recommendations.
    • Strong financial and business acumen, including oversight of budgets, financial performance, risk management, and long-term strategic planning.
    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or executive leadership training preferred.

    WARREN CO REMC is a not-for-profit electric distribution, member-owned, non- union cooperative. The cooperative serves five counties including parts of Benton, Fountain, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, and Warren with over 1,045 miles of energized lines and 4,938 meters serving 3,848 members. Warren Co. REMC is located in Williamsport, IN on the western side of the state situated between the Wabash River and the Illinois state line.
