Janitorial Supervisor

Be the main point of contact for customers and crews after 5pm, ensuring every building's scope of work is completed every night.

City Wide Facility Solutions is launching a new office in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City. We need a 2nd Shift Janitorial Supervisor to ensure contract compliance across our commercial accounts. You'll learn each building's scope of work inside and out, inspect sites to verify crews executed the full scope, and serve as the go-to contact for clients and cleaning crews Monday through Friday evenings.

Your primary focus is inspecting buildings and ensuring quality, not cleaning. That said, you'll need to understand the work well enough to coach crews, verify results, and occasionally step in when needed. The real job is making sure everything promised to the client gets done, and communicating with leadership when it doesn't.

This role starts part-time and grows quickly to full-time as our client base expands. We're building this market from the ground up, and you'll help establish the inspection standards and communication systems that define how we operate.

What you'll do each shift:

• Serve as the primary contact for customers and crews after 5pm
• Learn and master the scope of work for each building in your route
• Inspect sites nightly to verify the full scope was executed
• Coordinate with independent cleaning crews on expectations, complaints, and requests
• Document findings and send detailed nightly recaps to leadership
• Resolve issues with authority to make real-time decisions in the field
• Manage building access including keys, alarm codes, and entry procedures

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle for evening travel throughout Reno, Sparks, and Carson City
• Strong communication skills for coordinating contractors and reporting to leadership
• Detail orientation for building inspections and contract verification
• Ability to work 2nd shift (4:00 PM to 12:30 AM)
• Self-directed judgment to manage a nightly route across multiple commercial accounts

Preferred:

• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial operations, or facility services
• Background coordinating crews, vendors, or field teams
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment (buffers, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors)
• Bilingual English and Spanish

• Resolve complaints and requests within 24 hours
• Close inspection tasks within 48 hours
• Send nightly recaps 100% of the time
