Janitor

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas, offices, and restrooms to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for employees. This role includes routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, as well as collecting and disposing of trash and recycling. The Janitor also monitors and maintains cleaning supply inventory, ensuring necessary materials are stocked and available. The position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, follow established cleaning procedures, and adapt to various work conditions, including different shifts and temperature environments.

Requirements

- While performing duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to walk. The associate is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to lift and/or a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities may be required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud.
