ITX Developer | IT Payments

Join our dynamic IT Payments team, where innovation meets functionality! We are on the lookout for a versatile Developer to enhance our squad's capabilities. This role uniquely combines development, application support, and deployment tasks in a fast-paced environment. Our mission is to deliver high-quality solutions for various payment formats, including ISO 20022 and SWIFT.

As a Developer specializing in IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), you will play a vital role in supporting our critical payment applications. Your key responsibilities will include developing and enhancing existing applications, creating and updating ITX maps, managing message queues, and addressing user inquiries. Your proficiency in troubleshooting and effective communication will be essential to your success. You will gain exposure to a variety of technologies including IBM MQ Series, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, support, and enhance existing ITX maps and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Implement new features to improve payment processing capabilities.
• Transform SWIFT payment messages to ISO 20022 and vice versa, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly to ensure minimal service disruption.
• Maintain and enhance documentation related to application support and development processes.

• Proficiency in creating and manipulating ITX maps
• English and French language skills (at least B2 level).
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL for database interactions and data manipulation
• Knowledge in Linux ksh scripting for automation and system management.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools, such as Jenkins, to streamline the development process.
• A willingness to learn and master ITX mapping techniques from IBM Transformation Extender (also known as WebSphere Transformation Extender or WTX).
• Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. You should be adept at conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience with ITX mapping from IBM Transformation Extender.
• Familiarity with IBM MQ Series.
• Proficiency in both English and French, enabling effective communication across diverse teams and clients.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with SWIFT payments and ISO 20022 message formats, will be a plus.
