Fraport Greece is currently looking to cover the position of IT&Τ Network Administration Supervisor. The role provides and maintains all related network components of the Fraport Greece, thus guaranteeing high availability, quality and usability to support all company processes. In addition, the role helps to develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives in the areas of network operations and security, while serving as a technical resource lead.

What you will be doing:
- Determines all network and system requirements.
- Has the project supervision for various networking projects.
- Installs, maintains and supports LANs, WLAN’s, WANs, IP telephony, internet and intranet systems, in close collaboration for the installation part with the IT&T airports field engineers and NOC engineers at HQ.
- Monitors all networks and maintains the integrity of the network to ensure necessary security and availability to specific users.
- Evaluates and modifies networking systems performance.
- Identifies user needs and analyses/isolate potential issues and follows up with Service Desk to resolve any issues.
- Ensures the network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WLAN/WAN/IPT infrastructure.
- Performs network address assignment and is responsible for the overall IP management (IPAM).
- Assigns and configures routing protocols and monitors the routing table information.
- Performs the necessary patch management and maintains all networking equipment up-to-date in terms of software in order to eradicate known vulnerabilities and implement new features.
- Maintains networking related servers and other networking systems such as VPN gateways, Firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Administers IP telephone systems, routers, switches, access points, firewalls, IP and analogue phone devices.
- Communicates with internal clients to determine and identify needs and explain complex issues.
- Stays up to date with the latest networking technologies and trends according to the airport’s total equipment install base.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent.
- Minimum work experience 8 years in computer operations and network administration.
- Experience in design, setup and operation of network infrastructures from different vendors.
- Good knowledge of IPv4 and basic knowledge of IPv6 in addressing schemes, DHCP and DNS for private and public networks.
- Very good knowledge and professional experience in dealing with network infrastructures, switching, VLANs, VPNs, micro segmentation of networks, multicast-traffic, routing protocols.
- Good knowledge of wireless networks (esp. Cisco Meraki APs).
- Knowledge of WAN and internet connection through leased-lines and satellite downlinks, combination of private and public networks.
- Good knowledge in the realm of network authentication (802.1x) and PKI.
- Good knowledge of IP telephony esp. Cisco Call Manager, SBCs.
- Certifications (esp. Cisco routing & switching, Fortigate infrastructure).
- Good knowledge of network security & firewall configuration.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools (esp. PRTG).
- Good knowledge in quality assurance and documentation.
- Airport experience is an advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken Greek/English.
